We just came back from camp at Arthur's Pass and what a time we had. We went there on a train it took 2 and a half hours to get there and when we got there we settled into our cabins and did lots of cool things like...
Hut building, 2 BIG walks, charades, blindfolded pictionary, sensory trail and lots more.
This is a poem about the sensory trail.
I heard
The water rushing as I leaped over a stream with my big heavy shoes.
I heard
Miss Scott shout "DUCK" as I was nearly about to hit my head on a branch.
I saw
Nothing as I followed the rough rope with my sturdy hand.
I felt
Scared as I didn't know how long the to the end.
I felt
Something cold and wet as I tried to get over it.
I wondered
How far to the end as I was getting tired of tripping over.
I wondered
How close the other person was to me.
