ANZAC DISCOVERIES - Women at War

What Did Women Do In The War?

Some of the women worked as nurses and some of them had mens jobs when they were at war; like women needed to drive a train, be a land girl (a farmer) work at shops, offices and be plumbers. They sometimes worked at factories that made helpful things for the war i.e. parachutes, munitions and uniforms.

No matter how long they worked women didn't get as much money as the men!

In my opinion I don't think this was very fair because the women  worked way more harder and they got less money for the same job.
